Reverse Chevron
This is a popular thread wrapping technique. The one below is a 2 axis reverse chevron which just means the chevron pattern was done in one direction and the reverse direction.
Tiger Eye
This is a popular thread wrapping technique and really makes your rod pop. This can be done with an assortment of colors.
Four Axis Chevron
The chevron pattern is popular and the one below is the four axis version. The one shown has equal sized ribbons, but it can be different sizes and colors to make interesting patterns.
Dragon Skin
This is a threading technique that uses an eight point cross underneath and then gold leaf is applied on top. The gold leaf comes in an assortment of colors.
Snake Skin
You can decorate your rod with most anything. In this example, a snake shed its skin and it was used to make a unique fishing pole.
